• We are dedicated to serving you during these uncertain times to keep you healthy and safe! We are taking the following measures to minimize COVID-19 exposure and transmission. These policies are in place to ensure your, and our, safety by proper office, staff and visitor sanitization, limiting your exposure to others, and to help you maintain social distancing. What should you expect at your appointment?

At Ocean Pacific Integrative Health Center, we follow State, County and CDC guidelines to keep our patients, staff and their families healthy and safe! Since the start of in-person office visits, we have added many additional safety measures to keep you and your family, and our community healthy and safe.

  • When making an appointment, you will be screened for symptoms of illness and your risk exposure history.
  • All visitors are required to wear a mask (or face covering) over your mouth and nose. If you have an exemption from wearing a mask, we will be happy to schedule your appointment as a Telehealth.
  • We allow 30-60 min between appointments to ensure sufficient time for patient check-in/check-out, minimize cross-traffic, and cleaning after the patient leaves.
  • All patients will be asked to wash hands at our handwashing station.
  • Your temperature will be checked and you will be asked to sign the following COVID related symptoms and exposure risks disclaimer:
    1. Do you have current symptoms of COVID-19? These symptoms must be new or not related to a known or pre-existing condition:

      • Fever
      • Cough
      • Difficulty breathing or Shortness of Breath
      • Fatigue
      • Body aches
      • Sore Throat
      • Runny Nose
      • Nasal congestion
      • Loss of taste/smell
      • Diarrhea, nausea or vomiting
      • Rash
    2. Have you travelled internationally within the last 14 days?
    3. Have you had contact with individual(s) who have a confirmed or presumptive diagnosis of COVID-19?
  • Only essential guests will be allowed with you to your appointment, such as a caretaker, parent, or translator. Same screening and hygiene will also be required for patient’s essential guests.
  • Our waiting room is arranged to allow appropriate physical distancing and all patients will be asked to practice social distancing of 6-feet.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout our clinic for use
  • If you would like a Telehealth appointment, please call our office and we would be happy to set up your private video conference.

 Office Policy for Staff:

  • Since the start of the in-person office visit after the order was lifted, we are checking our staff’s temperatures daily and staff will be asked the same screening questions as listed above. Anyone identified with an elevated temperature or illness will be sent home and will be asked to self-quarantine for minimum of 14-days or until a negative COVID-19 test result.
  • Medical grade or recommended sanitizers is used to clean between every patient in exam rooms, our waiting room, and any touched surfaces.
  • Staff will be wearing protective equipment masks and Face Shields when appropriate to ensure everyone’s safety.
